Corrugated
stainless steel tubing (CSST)
Corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) is a
promising alternative to traditional threaded black-iron gas piping for
residential, commercial and industrial applications. Its light weight,
flexibility, and need for fewer connections and fittings can make it
easier to
install than traditional threaded black-iron piping. These benefits can
add up
to substantial labor savings for installers and cost savings for
builders.

Harris County's Flood Plain
Maps Updated: Thousands
of Harris County property owners whose land will
lie within newly configured flood plains have six months to obtain
flood

flood-prone areas. The
redrawn maps will change the flood plain status for at
least 10,000 properties, said Passey and officials of the Harris County
Flood
Control District. Some were added to new flood plains and some removed.
